Day 1: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes- Fes

Our Trip in Morocco start towards the city of Fes, our first stops will be in Rabat to visit the Hassan tour the we continue toward Roman ruins at Volubilis, where ancient history comes to life. We’ll explore the well-preserved archaeological site, gaining insights into the Roman influence in the region. Our next destination is the imperial city of Meknes, where a rich tapestry of history awaits.

Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy a delicious lunch before delving into the historical wonders of Meknes. The impressive Bab Mansour, a grand gate in the ancient city wall, will be our entry point to the heart of the city. Passing through, we’ll discover the splendor of Moulay Ismail Palace, known for its architectural grandeur and historical significance.

Our exploration of Meknes will also lead us to the Herri Es-Souani, a unique site featuring ancient horse stables and granaries, complemented by a vast pool, showcasing the engineering marvels of the past.

Having immersed ourselves in the cultural and historical richness of Meknes, we’ll resume our journey towards Fes. The day concludes with an overnight stay in a charming riad in Fes Bali, offering a tranquil retreat amidst the vibrant energy of the city, allowing you to reflect on the day’s discoveries.

Day 2: Guided tour of Fes

The day will commence with a delightful breakfast, setting the stage for a captivating city tour of Fes. An official local guide will accompany you, leading the way through the traditional markets of the city. The tour will include significant landmarks such as the Royal Palace, the ancient universities known as the world’s oldest continuously operating educational institutions, the mosque, and the Karaouine Madrasa, a marvel built by Fatima El Fehria in the 9th century.

In the afternoon, the exploration continues with visits to the Najarine fountain, the enchanting old harem garden, and the Batha Museum, providing insight into the rich cultural heritage of Fes. Passing through the picturesque town of Ifrane, famous for its architecture inspired by that of European cities, and Azrou, where a break to feed the monkeys will allow you to connect with nature, we will continue our route to the town of Midelt, nestled in the Middle Atlas and renowned for its apple growing. We will take a well-deserved break for lunch to savor the local cuisine.

In the afternoon, our journey through the desert will continue crossing the Ziz Valley, offering breathtaking views. Upon reaching Arfoud, we will take the direct direction of Merzouga, where the majesty of the dunes will welcome us. The evening will be marked by a delicious dinner and an overnight stay in a hotel near the dunes, offering a unique experience under the starry desert sky.

Day 4: Erg Chebbi Sahara Desert

After a delicious breakfast, we will begin a day of adventures in the heart of the Merzouga desert. Our first stop will take us to meet the nomads, where we will have the opportunity to visit their traditional tents and learn more about their nomadic lifestyle.

Next, we will head to Taouz to admire the mysterious rock carvings, fascinating testimonies to the ancient history of the region. This cultural exploration will be followed by a visit to Hamlia, where we will have the pleasure of tasting a Berber pizza while enjoying the captivating music and dance of the Gnawa, a unique sensory experience.

The adventure will continue with a camel excursion to reach the dunes of Erg Chebbi, where we will witness a magnificent sunset over the dunes. The evening will be enlivened by a musical show featuring Berber drums, creating a magical atmosphere under the starry sky.

Day 5: Merzouga – Erfoud – Touroug – Todra gorges – Dades gorges

After the sunrise spectacle in the Sahara, you will have breakfast and we leave on camels towards Merzouga, our journey will continue towards Rissani to visit the big market of Tafilalt and the mausoleum of Molay Ali chrif Alaoui, of the we will pass towards Erfoud, and Touroug we will join Todra gorges. Upon reaching Essaouira, the day’s exploration will focus on the captivating Medina. Wandering through the narrow, labyrinthine streets, you’ll encounter the vibrant atmosphere of this coastal city. The Medina is known for its blue and white-washed buildings, creating a charming and distinctive aesthetic.
